One of the nicest things about being Principal here at Immaculate Conception School of Allegany County is send our students out the door at the end of the day. Truly, it’s not because our hallways will calm down for the first time in seven hours either. As I monitor the dismissal of our students. I have a few minutes to connect with the students. Our conversations are brief, but I glean a lot of information.
I appreciate the opportunity to wish each child a good, “rest of the day.” Invariably, they return the sentiment. The little ones are enthusiastic and the older students are genuine. When you have 100 individuals wishing you a good day, it’s difficult not to achieve that end.
Thank you for reading this post. I hope you have a wonderful rest of your day, too!
