ICS took time to support the Community Garden with student power. The 5th graders worked to harvest the end of the season crops, including the ghost, or hot peppers. Many hands made light work. The 6th graders arrived on the scene to finish the task. As always, our students worked well together and much was accomplished.
If you took time to read our Weekly Ups, you know our students helped with the Community Garden’s final harvest. The 5th graders chose to sample the hot peppers that were brought back during lunch. Some of the students found out the hard way that they are not very fond of hot peppers!
