ICS First Graders are making observations about our world throughout the day. Most importantly they are creating beautiful blossoms as they share their thoughts on “how do my classmates show that they are good friends?” In addition to growing kind thoughts, we have seeds that have sprouted, new seeds growing in the pea pods and the pumpkins are ready for transplanting. We have 5 bullfrog polliwogs with tiny legs that can be seen if you observe carefully. We’ve observed 2 dimensional shapes and explored simple machines. Check back to see what we re learning as the young scientists study inventions, matter and 3 dimensional shapes.
